The largest Painted Route 66 Shield In Missouri

If you're a true Route 66 enthusiast, then you're no stranger to the iconic shield symbol that represents this historic highway. And if you're lucky enough to have traveled through Missouri, then you might have stumbled upon the sight of a massive Route 66 shield painted on the pavement in front of the Gay Parita Sinclair Station.

But what you might not know is that this spectacular display of artistry was brought to life by none other than Roamin Rich, a renowned artist and stenciler who specializes in paying homage to the Mother Road.

Recently, Roamin Rich set out on a mission to paint the largest Route 66 shield in Missouri, and he certainly did not disappoint. Armed with his trusty stencil, Rich spent hours painstakingly painting the massive shield on the pavement outside the now iconic Gay Parita Sinclair Station.

What makes this creation even more special is the fact that this station used to be run by Gary Turner, a well-known Route 66 personality who sadly passed away in 2015. Rich's artwork serves as a touching tribute to Turner and his legacy, as well as a beacon of hope for all those who continue to cherish the memories associated with this fabled highway.

So if you happen to find yourself driving through Missouri on Route 66, be sure to stop by the Gay Parita Sinclair Station and witness firsthand the incredible artistry of Roamin Rich. Trust me, it's an experience you won't soon forget.
